Katlego Zebulon Tshoane was born on the 7th of August 1992 in a small town, called Tafelkop, in the Limpopo Province. Katlego started his education at the Kenneth Masekela primary school, continuing at the St. Paul's high school and later completed his matric at Bonginsimbi Comprehensive School in Witbank.
He released his 1st album called "Akahluleki" in 2006 whilst he was still in high school. "Akahluleki" was selling successfully until Katlego's father, Gabriel Tshoane, sadly passed away on Katlego's birthday in 2007. Katlego then decided to postpone his singing career and started practicing musical instruments for 4 years by himself.
In 2013 Katlego enrolled for part time studies at the Boston Music College in Johannesburg Braamfontein. His studies included alto and tenor saxophone. After 6 months Katlego returned to Tafelkop due to lack of funding for further studies. Katlego then decided to play for churches with the desire to further develop and express his talent.
Katlego had the opportunity to perform with well-known SA Gospel artists including Sipho Makhabane, Kgotso Makgalemele, Keke Phoofolo, Benjamin Dube and others. Katlego has taken the next step in his musical career and signed up with the Limpsharks Recording Company for 1 year. We believe that Katlego’s friends and fans will be thrilled to know that his second album will be released soon!
I thank you Lord for taking my life to the next level, I really appreciate and lift your name up high as your name is beyond everyone’s name in Heaven and on Earth. Thank you also for making me patient with everything you have been testing me on and thank you for making my name prosperous as its meaning ''Katlego''.
